Your tasks:
- Coordinate the transportation of company products domestic and international via ground, air or ocean
- Responsible for scheduling shipments, obtaining trucking quotes, carrier pickups and deliveries, monitoring shipments, costs, and timelines
- Review International shipping documents (airway bills / seaway bill) for accuracy
- Handle domestic freight claims, rate analysis, and assist with internal freight request with other departments
- Monitor inbound and outbound shipments for company or external customers
- Process freight billing, review and code vendor invoices for payment processing and ensure correct freight costs
- Perform a variety of other administrative and logistics duties as assigned by supervisor
Your profile:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- 1 - 3 years of directly related experience in the field of Logistics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize work and multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Willingness to work extended hours when required to complete projects on time
